S1E4 | Mentoring Across Generations: A Journey of Faith & Surrender with Ashley Stockard
Jun 15, 2026Ashley Stockard’s story is about learning to notice God’s quiet nudges—and having the courage to follow them into something new.
In her 50s, Ashley began sensing God leading her toward mentoring women across generations. What followed was a season of surrender, releasing control, and learning to recognize God’s fingerprints throughout her story. Along the way, she began embracing more fully the unique way He created her and trusting that she didn’t need to understand the entire plan before moving forward.
Ashley and I also get practical about what it looks like to listen for God’s voice and follow His direction. We talk about choosing a “word of the year,” creating space to spend time with Him each day, and learning to pay attention to the next step instead of demanding the whole roadmap.
If you’re wondering what God may be inviting you into next, Ashley’s story is a reminder that you don’t have to have everything figured out. Listen, take the next step, and keep showing up as the woman God created you to be. He may do far more with your yes than you ever imagined.
Delight in Every Step is about encouraging women like us to keep moving, growing, and trying new things in our 50s and beyond. Each episode, I introduce you to a woman who is doing just that.
