Lynn Pascale’s story is a powerful reminder that some of life’s hardest seasons can become the very places where purpose is clarified.

In her late 40s, Lynn was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and given just a 1–5% chance of survival. With her children still young, she walked through major surgery, treatment, fear, exhaustion, and deep spiritual wrestling. In the middle of it all, she experienced a profound sense of God’s presence and began to see that surviving would not simply mean returning to the life she had before.

What followed was a complete redirection of purpose.

Lynn moved from traditional nursing into roles that brought faith and care together, including parish nursing and hospice work. She became a bridge between physical care and spiritual compassion, and the suffering she had endured became part of what shaped the way she served others.

Lynn and I also talk about prayer, divine appointments, everyday obedience, and trusting God’s timing when life doesn’t unfold the way we expected.
