Pamela Potts has lived through more than one professional reinvention—and each new chapter has helped her understand more clearly who she is, how she leads, and what really matters.

Her career has taken her from human resources and early computer training into technology leadership, software development, entrepreneurship, and eventually leadership coaching. Along the way, Pamela discovered that some of her most meaningful work wasn’t just in what she built, but in how she helped other people grow.

In her 50s and 60s, a combination of health challenges, the loss of her mother, and a growing sense of restlessness caused her to reevaluate her pace, priorities, and definition of success. What followed was a shift away from striving and constant problem-solving toward a more grounded way of living—one centered on presence, listening, and alignment with God’s direction.

Pamela and I also talk about what it means to lead without feeling like you have to carry all the answers. Her story is a reminder that clarity doesn’t always come from pushing harder. Sometimes it comes when we slow down long enough to listen.
